For years we have operated on the very successful AutoCAD platform, however when the opportunity arose to be able to provide a more accurate set of documents, we adopted the Revit Structure design and drafting package. This program, the younger brother of the very successful Revit Building program is based around the same 3D parametric database system.

This system minimises repetitive modelling and drawing tasks, as well as errors due to manual coordination. Because Autodesk Revit Structure uses building information modelling, every view, drawing sheet, and schedule is a direct representation of the same underlying database. As project team members work on the same project, making inevitable and necessary changes to the building structure, parametric change technology in Revit Structure automatically coordinates changes across all other representations of the project – model views, drawing sheets, schedules, sections, plans and details. The design and documentation stay coordinated, consistent, and complete.
